Another Great Tudor.

Property Photo

I discovered this beautiful Tudor style home built in 1928 in Wilmette, Illinois.  It’s had some nice updates but the home maintains its’ original beauty and charm.

The home has wood beams, wood paneling, and iron work that are mainstays of Tudor style.

The leaded windows and turret offer even more architectural interest.

It sits on a sizable lot with a beautifully landscaped yard that includes a private patio.  When the weather isn’t perfect, you can enjoy your yard from the three season’s room with graceful arched windows.

What a fantastic home!

Last week I shared a kitchen renovation that embraced its 1950’s bones.  Here is a bathroom that does the same thing.  When I looked at the after photo, I had to backtrack to see verify that they had indeed used the original wall tile.  Great job!

More bathrooms… I ran across this post highlighting bathroom sinks.  They are so creative and beautiful.  Don’t miss scrolling all the way thru to the last one.  It is so cool.

OK, and this light is crazy.  I can’t say that I love it but it is definitely interesting and a statement maker.

I hope you have a blast this week!
