Tired of your window looking like this?
There are some beautiful trends out there for window coverings that are well worth the expenditure and can change the whole look of your rooms. Here are some of my favorites:
Organic Coverings – Neutral and work in every room. Bring nature indoors and add texture to your design concept.
Hunter Douglas sheers collection lets light into the room while cutting down on too much sun and heat. It gives a gauzy, dreamy, effect buyers love! And the best part is no clunky blinds getting caught up in each other and pulls twisting every which way. Easy open and close!
Drapes will always have their place in a home. The most popular of late are the linen drapes- seen at Pottery Barn, Crate and Barrel, Bed, Bath and Beyond- all major retailers. There are both expensive and inexpensive options and they can add both color and texture to your room design.
For this week’s blog I thought I might list 3 of my favorite places to go to eat in Evanston. If you are new to the area and looking for some fun inexpensive restaurants be sure and check these out!
Lucky Platter– located in Downtown Evanston. With a cool eclectic ambiance, this fusion restaurant that features many types of cuisine might seem ‘hole in the wall’ but it’s a favorite of many locals. Just click the photo below to go to their menu!
Blind Faith Cafe– I’ve been here a number of times with my husband and we love it! We are not vegetarians and while this is a vegetarian restaurant, we still love many of the healthy fresh menu items!
Ten Mile House – Ok yes they have excellent food. Specializing in wood fired pizzas, salads, and smoked meats but another reason to go is it’s right next to the beautiful brand new construction Coldwell Banker office where I work! Stop in and say hello on your way to this fabulous new Evanston hot spot!
